After all the confusion on Friday, we are now in the house. :D About time, too! Okay, so here's the deal.

We are now apparently getting the keys tomorrow morning. *crosses fingers*

I'm now wishing that I'd taken tomorrow off of work as a holiday, as opposed to tonight. :\ Bugger.

Better go wash my hair soon.

..Okay, now we've been told that we are apparently getting the keys today.

...The solicitors just don't know where they are at the moment.

...I'm confused... very confused... first they said we aren't, then they said we are... what the feck is going on?! *brain ache*

Well, guess what?

We aren't getting the keys to the house today after all! It's been delayed again!

Why the fuck am I not in the least bit surprised?!

The solicitor wrote to us the other day - we could be getting the keys to the house next week.

I'm feeling optimistic, but cautiously so. The last time we recieved news of this sort (back in March) there was a delay, so I'm not getting my hopes up just yet.

*Crosses fingers*

The cheques for the wedding invitations & dress have been sent. I still have to confirm a few things regarding the invites, but at least that's all moving ahead now.

With regards to the house, the contracts have been signed. Not too long now... hopefully. :P

Yeah, you can all ignore the entry I made on Wednesday.

The house has been delayed by at least another month.

...Okay, so the moving-in date may be delayed again. Hopefully it won't, but yesterday something came up which may mean we have to wait a bit longer. :\

We're going shopping for bedroom carpet today, though. Whoo.

In other news, Quake IV pretty much owns my soul right now. XD

Euan went to visit the flat earlier. We're keeping it open as an option to fall back on, just in case we don't get the house for some reason or another ( Read more... )
